1. Vlasis Park

Vlasis Park is Ballwin’s largest park, spreading over 31 acres of land on Kehrs Mill Road. It’s a beautiful green space with picturesque ponds, rolling green lawns, and plenty of trees for shade. A scenic walking path meanders through the park, the two ponds are stocked with fish, and the two pavilions are perfect for picnics.

The park offers ample opportunities for recreational activities, including four tennis courts, a baseball diamond, a sand volleyball court, and a spacious playground. Vlasis Park hosts various programs and concerts throughout the year, including the popular annual Ballwin Days festival in August. 

2. New Ballwin Park

If you enjoy being active and spending time outdoors, head to New Ballwin Park. This seven-acre neighborhood park at 329 New Ballwin Road offers a fantastic range of recreational activities. Here, you and your family and friends can play tennis on one of the two courts, enjoy a game of sand volleyball or pickleball, or shoot some hoops.

Stroll down the walking path and along the boardwalk and cast your line from the fishing deck to catch trout, carp, and channel and bullhead catfish. The park has a pavilion for picnics and a playground for the little ones. 

3. Ferris Park

Pack a picnic basket and spend a few hours in the beautiful Ferris Park at 500 New Ballwin Road. Get a workout on the outdoor fitness structure, explore the park on the scenic nature trails, admire the beautiful surroundings from the cedar deck 15 feet above the forest floor, and find a scenic spot along the way to enjoy a peaceful picnic. The park also has a pavilion for larger gatherings and a playground where the little ones can climb and swing.

4. Holloway Park

Holloway Park at 335 Holloway Road is home to Ballwin’s award-winning, state-of-the-art North Pointe Family Aquatic Center. The center has a massive ten-lane competition pool with two one-meter diving boards. Relax while floating down the 1,000-foot-long lazy river, boasting a tumbling waterfall, and take a refreshing dip in the Leisure Pool with a beach entry, a vortex, and sprays.

There are also two thrilling waterslides, a kiddie pool with a dumping bucket, and a splash pad with multiple spray features. The park also has a lighted tennis court, four pickleball courts, a pavilion, and a playground. 

5. Greenfield Commons

The Pointe at Ballwin Commons at 1 Ballwin Commons Circle is home to The Pointe Recreation Center. The park has a covered playground to keep the kids out of the sun, a lovely picnic pavilion, and 12.8 acres of open space to throw a frisbee, kick a ball, or fly a kite.
