The 2024 Subaru Solterra is already a leader in its class, thanks to its standard symmetrical all-wheel drive across all models. This year, Subaru strengthens its leading position in the SUV class, offering exceptional off-roading capabilities, an ergonomic and spacious cabin, and the reliability and durability Subaru is known for.

Under the Hood

Each of the three trims in this year’s Solterra lineup features the all-electric StarDrive drivetrain, as well as paddle-shifter-controlled four-mode regenerative braking. Each Solterra model boasts 215 horsepower and 249 lb.-ft. of torque, offering ample power for all your adventures. The included Driving Mode Select program offers ECO, Power, and Normal modes to suit your driving needs. Active Cornering Assist, standard on all models this year, applies subtle braking force to the inside of the front wheel for sharper handling.

Every trim comes with Subaru’s X-MODE, the perfect addition to the included symmetrical all-wheel drivetrain. X-MODE uses advanced technology to optimize the Subaru’s driving parameters, maximizing traction, grip, and maneuverability on challenging terrain. The Solterra offers numerous other control programs for enhanced agility, including Downhill Assist Control, Grip Control, Vehicle Stability Control, and Traction Control.

Interior Setup

The Subaru Solterra seats up to five, featuring cloth upholstery in the base model and StarTex-trimmed seating in the Limited and Touring trims. Heated front seats come standard across all three trims, while the Limited and Touring add heated outboard seats to the connected second-row bench.

All models include one USB-A and two USB-B charging ports in the front, along with two USB-C charging ports in the rear. The Limited and Touring trims feature a Qi wireless charging pad, while all trims include two front cupholders and two rear cupholders. Passengers enjoy 95.7 cubic feet of space, while the cargo area offers 23.8 cubic feet of storage, expandable to 63.5 cubic feet with the rear bench folded down.

Cabin Convenience Tech

Entering your Solterra’s cabin is a welcoming experience thanks to standard Keyless Entry, and starting your Subaru’s engine is easier than ever with the built-in push-button starter. Each 2024 Solterra features a voice-activated interface through Intelligent Assistant, allowing you to adjust climate, phone, and radio settings with vocal commands. The base-model Solterra Premium has an automatic anti-glare rearview mirror. The Limited trim adds integrated HomeLink to its auto anti-glare mirror, while the Touring trim upgrades to a digital HomeLink mirror.

With its combination of rugged performance, comfort, and Subaru’s trusted reliability, it’s no wonder the 2024 Solterra is a game-changer in the electric SUV market. Discover the future of off-roading by test-driving the Solterra with us here at Dean Team Subaru in Ballwin, MO.
