2023 Subaru Legacy

The Legacy comes in five trims: Base, Premium, Limited, Sport, and Touring XT. The 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels with 225/55 R17 97V all-season tires are a strong start as far as exterior features go, but that's only the beginning. The Sport and Touring XT trims each have a 2.4-liter turbocharged intercooled four-cylinder 16-valve DOHC horizontally opposed SUBARU BOXER engine with Dual Active Valve Control System with a drastically increased output of 260 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 277 pound-feet of torque at 2,000-4,000 rpm. Each engine is coupled with a Lineartronic CVT with Adaptive Control and an eight-speed manual mode.

As can be expected, each trim offers solid fuel economy. The Base, Premium, and Limited trims get an EPA-estimated 35 mpg on the highway and 27 mpg in the city, while the top two trims have EPA-estimated fuel economies of 31 mpg on the highway and 23 mpg in the city. The Electric Power Assisted Steering and four-wheel independent MacPherson strut suspension with stabilizer bar keep your drive smooth. If you drive often, you may especially appreciate the Auto Vehicle Hold, a feature that holds your Legacy in place when the vehicle is stopped so you don't have to keep your brake pedal pressed.

The 2023 Subaru Legacy's interior keeps the party going with a Harman Kardon 12-speaker premium audio system and GreenEdge amplifier. You'll love the power-adjustable heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear outboard seats, and leather-wrapped heated steering wheel.
